We’re in the home stretch of Kristin’s Call, our online investment campaign to raise $25,000. In case you missed it, the co-chair of our social investment council challenged Echoing Green to raise $25,000 from online donors, and in turn, she'll match it one-to-one (all in service of funding an Echoing Green Fellow). In the first two months of the campaign, you have helped us raise $8,800, but we need your help to raise the remaining $16,200 in the next several weeks!
To stir things up, we’ve just launched an exciting new feature. If you donate between now and August 31st, you will have the chance to cast your vote for what type of program (education, environment, health, or human rights) Echoing Green will fund with your gift. Each gift will receive one vote, and you can keep track of the voting with the fancy new chart on the left column of our website.
Oh, and if you’re wondering why you might want to invest in an Echoing Green Fellow, we’ll give you three good reasons:
- By year two of their fellowship, fifty-eight percent of Echoing Green Fellow organizations have budgets over $100,000, compared to twenty-three percent of peer organizations.
- Ninety-three percent of fellow organizations created a strategic plan, compared to forty-one percent of peer organizations.
- By year two, 86 percent of Echoing Green Fellows hire at least one additional staff member, compared to only 38 percent of peer organizations.
Please join us in supporting the Echoing Green Fellows by making a contribution today. Your contribution will be matched 100 percent! Thanks for your continued support of our work.

Invest in clean technology
I would recommend investing in clean technology and ways to educated end users on the importance of energy efficiency. If people just activated their power management software on their computers, it would save on the environment and wallets. Join Power IT Down Day to learn more: http://www.gocsiblog.com/?p=404.
