Personal Bio

Jamey Gerlaugh is a sustainability consultant and entrepreneur, currently working with SolarCity in Washington,DC. He served in several leadership positions at Verdant Power, a world leader in the design and deployment of renewable energy kinetic hydropower turbines. Jamey was Executive Director of Roanoke River Partners, an NGO promoting environmentally-friendly economic development in rural North Carolina, and a founding partner in Forests of the World LLC, supporting local artisans and green entrepreneurs in rainforest communities. As an Electrical Design Engineer at United Technologies, he developed aircraft control and communication systems. He holds a Masters in Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
