Rachel D. Wilson
Senior Associate, Global Fellowship Programs
Rachel manages the portfolios of Echoing Green's Global Fellows, cultivating their leadership skills and serving as their purpose champion.
She comes to Echoing Green with 10+ years of consulting experience in both the public and private sectors where she helped her clients to develop sustainable strategies to amplify their impact. A former Goodwill Ambassador to the Republic of Gambia’s Ministry of Women Affairs and Ministry of Youth & Sports, she worked with key stakeholders, building capacity through leadership development, education, health and social enterprise initiatives. Rachel graduated with a Masters in Social Administration from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University where she served as the President and CEO of the Mandel Student Council. She holds a BA in Sociology from North Carolina A&T State University and is working on her Executive Masters in Public Administration at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at NYU, focusing her leadership studies on social impact, innovation and investment.
When Rachel is not cultivating brands and leading social impact initiatives, she is inspiring the next wave of global influencers by speaking to audiences about entrepreneurship, hope, and philanthropy as an award-winning Toastmaster. In her free time, you'll find her practicing yoga, capturing stories through documentary filmmaking and photography, and researching the next African country she will explore.
