Fellow community reaches major milestone with support from partners TWILA and Ballmer Group.

Echoing Green has selected eighteen of the world’s most promising social entrepreneurs as its latest cohort of Fellows. These leaders, who were chosen from a pool of more than 4,100 applicants, are building solutions to humanity’s toughest problems. As Fellows, each will receive $100,000 in seed funding along with the expert counsel and dynamic community needed to accelerate their journey from bold idea to lasting impact.

“The versatility of these leaders illustrates the power of social entrepreneurship as a driver of positive change. Echoing Green is delighted to invest in them early to accelerate their impact,” said Echoing Green CEO and 1992 Fellow Cheryl Dorsey. “Leaders like these are exactly who we need to solve the challenging issues of our day.”

This latest cohort was made possible, in part, by Echoing Green’s partnership with TWILA, a new global initiative investing in agricultural innovation and leadership. With TWILA’s support, Echoing Green is investing in entrepreneurial leaders transforming food systems and tackling global food security.

The cohort also continues Echoing Green’s partnership with Ballmer Group, who has invested $10 million in Echoing Green. Since 2023, this investment has supported more than 40 social entrepreneurs expanding economic opportunity for their communities.

Both partnerships reflect a belief at the center of Echoing Green’s work: That the world needs more social entrepreneurs. These innovators will be the ones to build a better future, which is why Echoing Green has spent nearly 40 years finding the most promising social entrepreneurs, investing in their success, and putting them on a path for lifelong impact.

This cohort also marks an important milestone for Echoing Green’s community of Fellows, which now includes more than 1,000 current and alumni Fellows. Community members often cite this dynamic network as a differentiator for Echoing Green as it offers the connections, knowledge sharing, and collaboration needed to catalyze their impact well beyond their 18-month Fellowship.
