Why HBCUs?

To build a more diverse talent pipeline for social impact, Echoing Green is working in partnership with some of the nation’s top HBCUs to provide hands-on training and learning opportunities for students committed to creating an equitable and sustainable world.

With a rich history of civil rights work on campus, civic engagement remains central to the cultural fabric of HBCUs. It serves as reminder that these institutions have and will continue to produce the next generation of leaders who will engage in social change movements that impact society.

As our program grows, we are committed to working with future partners who are dedicated to supporting a diverse pool of social impact leaders.

Echoing Green is working to pilot social entrepreneur trainings with our 2019–2020 partners and share our learning along the way. Want to connect with us and learn more?
