These 20 Echoing Green Fellows are innovating for our collective future.
For nearly four decades, Echoing Green has been a leading talent spotter of some of the world’s brightest and best leaders in social innovation. Selected from a pool of 4,200 applicants, these innovators represent the 2025 Fellowship cohort.
From education to climate to civil rights, these leaders are disrupting the status quo to transform systems for the better. Fellows are launching and growing social enterprises that are driving change across more than 10 countries and states, including:
- Improve economic opportunity and agency for young women in Indian villages by offering modern workforce training and community support to launch and sustain careers
- Increase access to renewable energy for low-income communities in Africa by delivering clean and affordable cooking gas through community kitchens
- Expand accessible and inclusive sexual and reproductive healthcare for women and marginalized genders in the Middle East and North Africa by delivering anonymous at-home testing, telehealth, education, and community-driven support
Investing in the ideas and growth of social innovators, such as these new Echoing Green Fellows, is critical not only for meeting this moment of accelerating global crises but also for making progress towards a brighter future for everyone.
“Reflecting on the breadth of talent, leadership, lived experience, and expertise of this cohort, the state of social entrepreneurship is strong,” said Cheryl Dorsey, Chief Executive Officer of Echoing Green. “From increasing access to urgently needed resources and infrastructure such as healthcare, energy, food security, and social services, to driving economic development across India, Latin America, the African continent, the U.S. and beyond, these leaders are meeting this moment with the innovative solutions that our world needs right now.”
“This cohort is one of our most global yet with Fellows working in more than ten countries,” said Sharyanne McSwain, President of Echoing Green. “With so much opportunity for impact, these transformative social innovators hold immense potential to drive change not only locally in their communities but also on a global scale.”
