Y’aneris is a communications strategist committed to leveraging digital storytelling for equity and justice.
She brings five years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on campaigns that amplify marginalized voices and drive systemic change. Prior to joining Echoing Green, she supported labor organizing efforts at the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), where she helped craft narratives that elevated workers’ rights and mobilized communities.
Y’aneris holds a BA in Communications and Sociology from the University of South Florida. She has previously worked in the areas of mental health advocacy, disability justice, and political organizing—experiences that continue to inform her commitment to equity and social change.
Outside of her work, Y’aneris is a dog mom, frequent concert-goer, museum lover, and avid explorer of local restaurants.
